Paul Findley

Paul Findley is the Chief Financial Officer of DCC and oversees financial management, accounting, audits, and compliance. He brings more than two decades of senior leadership experience across the nonprofit and cultural sectors, with a focus on financial stewardship, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning for organizations with budgets of up to USD 30 million.

Findley has a demonstrated record of strengthening financial systems, improving operational efficiency, and securing multimillion-dollar funding. Adept at building high-performing teams, Findley guides organizations through complex audits, ensures regulatory compliance, and aligns financial practices with mission-driven objectives. He is particularly recognized for collaborative leadership, process improvements, and delivering actionable insights to boards and executives.

Prior to joining Democracy Council, Findley served as Accounting Director at the Skirball Cultural Center and as Finance Director at the Berggruen Institute. He has also provided accounting and financial advisory services to a range of developing and established nonprofit organizations, supporting governance, compliance, and long-term sustainability.
