James Prince
CO-FOUNDER | PRESIDENT | BOARD MEMBERJames Prince co-founded DCC and has served as its president and a member of the Board of Directors since its establishment, with the exception of the period from 2020 to 2021. In his role, he oversees day-to-day operations, directs program design and implementation, and leads research and analysis. He also serves as a resource to local and international policymakers, analysts, academic institutions, international development organizations, and the media.
Prince has testified before the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs and has served as a fact witness in terrorism financing cases. He has held fellowships with the American Assembly as a New Generation Fellow and with Trends Research & Advisory in Abu Dhabi as a Non-Resident Fellow, where his work focused on countering extremism.
Prince speaks regularly at international forums, including the World Economic Forum and the Milken Institute Global Conference. His work has been widely cited in national and international media, including a feature on CBS's 60 Minutes. Additionally, he has authored more than 40 published articles on foreign policy, conflict and security across major U.S. and international outlets, including The Christian Science Monitor, Current History, Forbes, Haaretz, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Hill, The Washington Times, The Jerusalem Post, The Times of Israel, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Star Tribune, The Detroit News, The Houston Chronicle, Newsday, Worth, and academic journals such as Studies in Conflict & Terrorism and Terrorism, Violence and Insurgency.
